The painting shows St. Patrick Church and rectory as they appeared on a morning in August 2007. The sky is blue with some thin clouds near the horizon. Trees and shrubs can be seen in back of and around the church along with a retaining wall with a little set of stairs. The church itself has a granite exterior with white painted trim and large brown wooden doors. A gold colored cross is on top. In front of the church is a sign which says, "St Patrick Church". This is in a planter which has some red flowers in it. The rectory is a white building with black shutters and is also surrounded by shrubs. To the right is part of a crimson maple which is on the front lawn. In the foreground is Main street.
The church has been there since 1913, but was wooden at first. My father and grandfather were two of the stone cutters who worked on the original stone part of the church (the larger part to the right) back in the 1950's.
